Since hatching in 2012, our community has generously supported our award-winning Moss Haven Farm, located on the Moss Haven Elementary School campus. Together with our dedicated teachers, volunteers, community members, and corporate sponsors, we’ve grown from a grassy knoll to 23 raised beds, a farm field, and an award-winning chicken coop – this fall we had several blue ribbon-winning chickens at the Texas State Fair!
Each year, we must raise funds to continue this urban farming program and to reach every student through our science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) instruction. So, what can you do to contribute?
